THE TIME OF THE FIREFLIES is the story of a beautiful heirloom doll with a secret family curse, a bit of historical fiction from 1912–and time-slipping. The novel has received terrific reviews from Publisher’s Weekly, Kirkus, and School Library Journal who said, “Haunting, well-constructed tale . . . A plot filled with suspense, adventure, and mystery. A perfect choice for lovers of ghost stories, historical fiction, or just a good yarn.”Help Kimberley celebrate THE TIME OF THE FIREFLIES by entering the Rafflecopter to win a signed hardcover copy of FIREFLIES, gorgeous Book Club Cards, and a glow-in-the-dark firefly necklace.
Kimberley Griffiths Little’s best ideas come when taking long hot baths, but instead of a sunken black marble tub with gold faucets and a dragon-shaped spigot, she has New Mexico hand-painted tiles in her adobe home along the Rio Grande. She makes a lot of chocolate chip cookies when writing/revising.

Hi my name's Daisy and I'm 25 yrs old. I'm a Computer Science student. I have been drawing since I was little but only took it seriously when I was around 19. I’ve done a lot of work but I gave away most of them (I really love making them as gifts). I never got to scan them though. But I’ve kept a few drawings for myself and you can see those in my blogspot.
Other things about me:
I love to draw anime characters, nature and sometimes real people. I also enjoy dancing even there's no music.. lol.
I had formal lessons in piano when I was kid. I regret not playing it for a long time until I turned 23. But one day, I'd like to learn the violin.
Travelling the whole world is something I would love to do someday.
My current mediums: Graphite, colored pencils, watercolor pencils, digital art and photography.
My subjects: In drawing, I usually draw people, fantasy, anime, nature/landscape, sill life. I also love to draw for children’s books. In photography, I'm currently doing the basics (I'm new to it) and I'm still finding what forte will be.
My drawing style: Realistic, manga style and rough sketches.
